Hello folks!
Tonight for tea I made this absolutely delicious savoury mince in the slow cooker 🙂 Time saving, energy saving and people pleasing! Perfect on it’s own with a chunk of crusty bread or even with vegetables on the side…leftovers can make a great pie filling too 🙂

What I used – Serves 4
500g (17.6 oz) Potatoes – sliced or cubed
450g (15.8 oz) Good quality minced beef
1 Medium onion – finely diced
300g (10.5 oz) Carrots – diced
300g (10.5 oz) Swede – diced
150g (5 oz) Frozen garden peas
1 Teaspoon garlic puree or minced garlic
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon Tomato puree
2 Beef stock cubes – I used OXO cubes
1 Tablespoon dried parsley
Salt & Pepper to taste
500ml (17.5 oz) Water – you may need more if yours is looking a little dry towards the end of cooking.
