-not adding enough water can cause your huarache to crack add between 2 cups to 21/2 pour little at a time 😉

‼️‼️Tip!!! Best results cut your meat into cubes, use the oil from the chorizo to fry the huarache

Ingredients: 8 servings
2 1/2 lbs skirt steak
8 oz chorizo
4 nopales (cactus leaves)
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (4 limes)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp chile powder( I used New Mexico)
Salt
Black Pepper
3 cups Maseca (instant corn masa flour)
2-2 1/2 cups warm water
3 tbsp lard, shortening or oil
1/2 tsp baking powder
