๐น 1 1/2 cup pastina or any tiny pasta, like alphabet, orzo, or acini di pepe
๐น 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley leaves, for garnish
๐น Grated parmesan cheese, for serving

๐น 1 yellow onion, chopped
๐น 2 large carrots, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
๐น 3 garlic cloves, chopped
๐น 1 pound Italian chicken sausage, mild or hot, casings removed
๐น 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
๐น 4 cups low-sodium vegetable or chicken broth
๐น 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
๐น 9 ounces cheese tortellini
๐น 3 cups packed fresh baby kale leaves or chopped kale, stems removed
๐น 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
