Notes:
– If you’re using honey, add it on top after the oatmeal is cooked. I recently learned that heating honey makes it toxic so wanted to share that.
– If you choose to use maple syrup you can add it in while cooking the oats.
– You can use whole milk or any plant based milks. Both work very well.
– I used old fashioned rolled oats. You can use quick oats too.
