📌Cherry Cheesecake Hawaiian Roll Danishes:
-1 (12ct) pkg. King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
-3 Tbsp Butter, Melted
-1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
-8 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
-1/3 Cup Sugar, granulated
-1 Egg
-1 tsp. Vanilla
OPTIONAL:
-1 can Cherry Pie Filling, or any pie filling of your choice
-1 Cup Powdered Sugar and 1-3 tsps milk to make a glaze to drizzle over top.
***Cut a square in the top of each roll and press the center down using a shot glass or something similar. mix together melted butter and 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar and brush over the rolls. Top, sides, and all inside the holes that you made. Mix together Cream Cheese, Granulated Sugar, egg and vanilla until smooth. Divide that mixture evenly among the rolls, filling the holes about 3/4 way up. Add a spoonful of cherry Pie filling in top of each roll. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. I made up a glaze with 1 Cup of Powdered Sugar and a couple teaspoons of milk. I let the Danishes cool and then drizzled the glaze over the top. separate rolls, serve and enjoy!
