Rava / Sooji – 2 Cups ( 250 Ml Cup )
Oil – 3 Tsp
Chana Dal – 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1 Tsp
Chopped Ginger
Green Chilli – 2 Nos
Curry Leaves
Asafoetida Powder
Cashew Nuts
Curd – 2 Cups
Salt – 1 Tsp
Fruit Salt – 1 Tsp

Today we are going to see an easy yet tasty South Indian breakfast recipe. This is Rava Idli. Rava Idli usually made with Semolina/ sooji ravva. It is a very light food and hence this quality of rava idli makes it an ideal dinner too for people who want to eat light during night times. Instead of plain ravva idli, I have shown you an interesting tempering to add to the batter to make it more flavourful and interesting. You can serve these idlies with any chutney you like. I personally like having them with coconut chutney, mint chutney and tomato chutney which are very common in the South Indian households.
