Coconut Stew Beef TastyTuesdays

Learn how to make classic Caribbean Coconut Stewed Beef in this episode of #TastyTuesdays with Chris De La Rosa of CaribbeanPot.com Beef is marinated in herbs and spices, then stewed as done in the Caribbean with golden brown sugar, and braised in coconut milk until fork tender.

For this stewed beef you’ll need…

4 lbs beef (cubed
1 heaping tablespoon Caribbean Green Seasoning
1 teaspoon grated ginger
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Habanero pepper
1.5 cups coconut milk
1.5 cups water
2 scallions
4-6 sprigs thyme
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 medium onion
1 tablespoon veg oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar (golden)
