Chicken Tandoori Recipe –
Marination 1 ๐ Clean the chicken
add salt
lemon juice
turmeric
Keep it aside for at least 15mins
Marination 2 ๐ In a bowl add hung curd
red chilli powder
tandoori masala
corriender powder
cumin powder
salt
๐Add marination 2 to chicken and let it lest for at least one hour
๐ Now take a tadk pan add mustard oil and heat it up till the smoke comes
once it’s done switch off the flame and add kashmiri chilli powder
mix and add it to the marinated chicken
๐Tip – burn some coal on the the flame and once it’s red and hot add it directly to the chicken add some ghee on it and cover it for 15 mins
๐(This will give a nice aromatic tandoori aroma to the chicken)
Cooking ๐ Take a pan add oil and marinated chicken pieces in the pan
cook nicely from both the sides till it’s done โ
**Once the chicken is cooked nicely you can grill each piece directly on the open flame for the nice black tandoori marks.
Serving ๐ Take a tadka pan add butter and melt it and top it on the tandoori chicken for that buttery flavour
๐Your ultimate butter tandoori chicken with OTG is ready to be served
๐ Garnish with some onion
