Beef Nihari Recipe ⬇️
Beef (shank cut) – 500 g
Garlic cloves – 5
Ginger – as required
Water – 500 ml
Ghee – 1/4 cup
Onion – 1 medium
Cinnamon stick – 1 small
Cardamom pod – 1
Black cardamom pod – 1
Minced garlic – 1 clove
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 1tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Shan Nihari masala – 1/3 packet
Crushed black pepper – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
➡️ Chilli oil :
Ghee – tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
➡️ Method :
– Add beef, garlic, ginger and water in the pressure cooker and pressure cook for 30 minutes in electric cooker (15 minutes in stovetop pressure cooker).
– To make the masala, add the ghee in a pan, then fry sliced onions until golden brown.
– Then add the whole spices, chilli powder, coriander powder and nihari masala. Then mix them throughly.
– Then add the cooked beef in the masala. Cook the beef for a minute.
– Then add the beef broth and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
– Then add cornflour slurry and thicken it to desired consistency.
– Cover it and cook for 10 minutes.
– To make the chilli oil combine ghee and chilli powderin pan and cook for a minute.
– When serving the nihari add the chilli oil , sliced ginger, chillies and lemon on top. #food #fyp #instagram #instareels #youtubeshorts #shorts
