A Refreshing and Healthy Avocado Recipe: Mexican Guacamole

Guacamole is a Mexican avocado-based dish, which not only tastes great, but is good for your health as well. Hence, it comes at no surprise, that Guacamole has become part of many international cuisines as a dip, condiment and salad ingredient.

This healthy Guacamole recipe yields two servings á ~200kcal each, with approximately 18g fat, 14g carbohydrates and 2g protein.

Ingredients:
– 2 avocados which yield around 200-220g of flesh
– (preferably red) onion [40g / 1/4 cup]
– a handful fresh coriander aka cilantro
– (preferably cherry or roma) tomato [60g]
– red or green medium chili pepper
– juice of a small lime [20ml / 1 Tbsp]
– season with salt (and pepper) to your liking
In general, please adjust spiciness and lime juice tanginess according to your liking.
