Potato is known as “Aloo” in Hindi. Any Indian curry made with potatoes is known as “Aloo curry”. Potatoes, Onions, Tomatoes, and spices come together to make this delicious curry that is absolutely perfect for dinner.
Potato Curry Ingredients –
0:30 – To Make Potato Curry
1 Tbsp Ghee
2 Bay Leaves
3 Onions (finely chopped)
1 tsp Garlic Paste
1 tsp Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Coriander seeds powder
1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
5 Potatoes (diced)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
2 cups Water
Salt
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
4 Tomatoes (pureed)
2 Tbsp gram flour paste
1 cup Water
5:14 – To Make Tadka
1tbsp Ghee
8-10 Fenugreek Seeds
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/8 tsp Asafoetida
8-10 Curry Leaves
