I am so excited for todays recipe, it’s soooo delicious!!! This Mexican traditional dish originates from Jalisco which is where my mom was born. It is typically made with goat meat, throughout the years more people make it w beef as its just as delicious and more accessible. This is a type of dish you make for special occasion in Mexican tradition, such as wedding, Quinceañeras, baptisms etc…today I am sharing my recipe. I hope that you love it!!! INGREDIENTS:
To start the broth-
1 large beef bone cut into pieces
2 beef neck bones
2-3 lbs Chuck Roast
2 Tbls of Chicken Bouillon
2 Tbls of Salt
5 garlic Cloves
1 White onion
For the Sauce-
13 Chiles Guajillos or 2oz
3 Chiles Anchos
3 Chiles Pasilla
3 Roma Tomatoes
5 Garlic Cloves
5 whole cloves
4 Bay Leaves
1/2 Cinnamon Stick
20 whole peppercorns
1 1/2 tbls of Oregano
1 1/2 tbls of ground cumin
1 1/2 tbls of onion powder
2 tbls of Paprika
1 1/2 tbls of salt
2 tbls of chicken Bouillon
1/4 cp of Apple Cider Vinegar
Toppings-
Diced white onion & Cilantro, Lime (enough for however many people your feeding) 😉
