(1) 14oz can sweetened condensed milk, chilled in refrigerator
(1) 20oz can crushed pineapple, drained well
(1) 21oz can strawberry pie filling
16 oz heavy whipping cream or cool whip
1/2 cup chopped pecans or other favorite nut variety
In a large mixing bowl using an electric hand mixer or stand mixer beat sweetened condensed milk until double the size and white in color.
Mix in drained pineapple and strawberry pie filling using the electric hand mixer. In a large bowl whisk heavy whipping cream until a whipped consistency. (Do not do this step if you are using cool whip).
Fold in the whipped topping or cool whip into the condensed milk mixture carefully until well combined. Add in chopped pecans. Pour mixture into a 9×13 baking dish or a large serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to chill until set 1-2 hours before serving. I added cut strawberries to the top. Enjoy.
