Fish Caldine (Peixe Caldine) or also known as Yellow Fish Curry (Peixe Amarelo Caril ) is a mild coconut-based non-spicy fish curry that’s yellow (amarelo) in color. This goan fish caldine is a traditional type of goan curry which goes well with pomfrets, other fish can also be used.
Fish Caldine Ingredients –
1/4 cup Fresh Coconut (grated)
4 Green Chillies
1 Tbsp Tamarind
1 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
4-5 Garlic Cloves
1/2 tsp Black Peppercorns
1/4 tsp Sagar
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 Tbsp Goan Vinegar
3 cup water
2 Pomfrets (cleaned)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt
1 onion (sliced)
Salt
1 Tbsp Oil
1 inch
Ginger
1 Tomato (chopped)
1/4 cup Coconut Cream
