1 kg chicken
½ lime
1 ½ cup pepper
1 ¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
¾ cup plain yogurt
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp butter
2 bay leaves
5- 6 peppercorn
2 small cinnamon sticks
5-6 green chilies
1 tbsp lime juice
½ tsp pepper
1 ½ tsp cornstarch
½ cup water
Instructions:
1. Marinate chicken with lime, pepper, salt, garlic and ginger paste
2. Mix in yogurt with a bit of sugar
3. Marinate for 30 minutes
4. 2 ½ tbsp cooking oil
5. Melt butter in pan and add bay leaves, peppercorn, cinnamon sticks and marinated chicken pieces
6. Fry each side for 2 minutes
7. Cover with lid and cook for 25 minutes on low heat
8. Add green chilies, pepper, and corn starch slurry
9. Ready to enjoy!
