Recipes:
Macaroni & Cheese
1 lb pasta
1 tsp hot sauce
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp dry mustard
4 cups water
1 cup milk
3 cups shredded cheese
Add the pasta, water, dry mustard and hot sauce to the Instant Pot. Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes. Quick Release. Drain pasta if excess water. Stir in butter, cheese and milk and allow cheese to melt. Serve.
Goulash
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 – 15 oz cans diced tomatoes
2 – 15 oz cans tomato sauce
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp W sauce
3 cups elbow noodles
2.5 cups water
3 bay leaves
salt, pepper, onion powder & garlic powder
Turn the Instant Pot onto Saute. When hot, add ground beef, garlic, salt, pepper, onion, garlic powder and onion powder. Cook until meat is browned. Drain fat if necessary. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, W sauce, water, noodles and bay leaves. Cook on high pressure for 4 minutes. Quick release. Take out bay leaves and stir. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
Honey Garlic Chicken
3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 small onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
2/3 cup honey
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp water
Add chicken, onion, garlic, soy sauce, ketchup and red pepper flakes to Instant Pot. Cook on high pressure for 6 minutes. Quick release. Add honey and stir to combine. Mix cornstarch and water in small bowl then add to Instant Pot. Let sauce thicken. Serve over rice topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
