EASY & TASTY SLOW COOKER RECIPES

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another slow cooker or crock pot recipe video! I have five new recipes to share that I hope you will enjoy! Lots of love, and thank you so much, as always, for watching and subscribing! xx

SLOW COOKER PIZZA

Pizza dough – you can make your own but getting ready-made is easier!
Passata
Olive oil
Garlic
Sugar
Seasoning
Mozzarella or a cheese of choice
Pepperoni or whatever topping you like!

Add some garlic to a small pan, along with your passata (two thirds of a carton), a teaspoon of sugar, and seasoning. Let this cook and thicken up slightly. Meanwhile, press your dough into a sprayed (spray oil or Fry Light) slow cooker. Make a crust up the sides with your hands. Add the sauce. Add your cheese. And any toppings! Cook for low for two hours. Enjoy!

SLOW COOKER FAJITAS
Tin of chopped tomatoes
Two chicken breasts
Your favourite fajita seasoning
One red onion sliced
Three peppers sliced
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of garlic
The juice of half of lime

Add your tin of chopped tomatoes to your slow cooker, along with a teaspoon each of honey and garlic. Add a chopped red onion and half of your peppers. Pop two chicken breasts on top and add your favourite fajita seasoning. Cook on low for six hours, or high for three hours. Remove your chicken, shred or slice and add back in, along with your leftover peppers (they still have a bit of bite then!) and a squeeze of lime. Serve with your favourite sides and enjoy!

SLOW COOKER PULLED CHICKEN PASTA

Carton of pasatta
Small onion chopped
Teaspoon of garlic
Tablespoon of dried oregano
Tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
Teaspoon of sugar
Two chicken breasts
Tub of cream cheese
Handful of Parmesan
Handful of chopped basil
Seasoning
Pasta of choice

Add your passata, onion, garlic, oregano, balsamic vinegar and sugar to the slow cooker and stir. Pop your chicken on top and cook on high for three hours or low for six. Remove your chicken and shred or cut and add back to the slow cooker, along with a tub of cream cheese, and a handful each of parmesan and basil. Stir, taste and season. Add in some cooked pasta and mix together. Serve with extra basil and parmesan!

STICKY CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

¼ cup of soy sauce
¼ cup of balsamic vinegar
¼ brown sugar
¼ cup of honey
1 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tbsp of hot sauce
1 tbsp of Chinese five spice
2 tsp of garlic

Chicken drumsticks or wings
1tsp of cornflour

Mix all the sauce ingredients together, pop your chicken into the slow cooker and pour the sauce contents over. Give it a mix. Cook on high for 2-3 hours, or low 4-5 hours. Mix together 1 tsp of cornflour to 1 tsp of water to create a paste, add this to your sauce in the slow cooker to thicken. Pop your chicken on a lined baking tray and sprinkle with sesame seeds and cook under the grill just to add some colour and crispy skin! Enjoy!

SLOW COOKER PANCAKES

200g of self raising flour
1 tbsp of caster sugar
1 tbsp of baking powder
200ml of milk
25g of melted butter
3 eggs

Butter to grease
Fruit or chocolate chips – optional!

Mix the wet ingredients together and add to the dry ingredients to form your pancake batter. Grease your slow cooker with butter and then add your batter. You can add fruit or chocolate chips here too, just sprinkle on top of your batter (don’t mix in beforehand or the fruit or chocolate may catch at the bottom of the slow cooker!). Cook on high for around 1.5-2 hours. Once cooked, slice and remove and serve with fruit and syrup or honey!

❤ MORE ABOUT ME ❤

I’m a 31 year-old mum of three, who lives in Cheshire, in the UK. I have a son called, Bill, and I am no longer with his dad, as we split mutually when he was a baby. I never imagined my life as it is now, with children to different partners, but I am so happy that it is my life. I met Mark in the summer of 2013, and we became firm friends. We fell in love when I became single and we’ve never looked back. We have a daughter, called Daisy, born April 2016, and a son, called Stanley, born March 2018. This is us now. I’m done having babies and just excited to watch them grow, as a family of five. I don’t consider myself to be anything other than a mostly-happy, mostly-tired, average mum. But I hope you enjoy following my story anyway. x
