π° Easy Vanilla Loaf Cake
Ingredients
Eggs β 3
Sugar β 130g (β

Vegetable oil β 120ml (Β½ cup)
Plain flour β 150g (1 cup)
Baking powder β 1 teaspoon
Baking soda β ΒΌ teaspoon
Milk β 60ml (ΒΌ cup)
Vanilla extract β 1 teaspoon
Salt β a pinch

Measuring cup size: 240ml
Baking pan: 21 Γ 11 Γ 6 cm loaf pan
Bake in a preheated oven at 170Β°C (350Β°F) for approximately 40β45 minutes.
Method
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt for about 3β4 minutes, or until the mixture becomes pale, light and fluffy.
Pour in the vegetable oil and whisk for another 1 minute until well combined.
You can substitute the vegetable oil with melted butter if preferred.
Sift the plain flour, baking powder and baking soda directly into the bowl.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until almost combined.
Pour in the milk and continue mixing gently until the batter is smooth and evenly combined. Avoid overmixing.
Pour the batter into a lined loaf pan and spread it evenly.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170Β°C (350Β°F) for approximately 40β45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool slightly before removing it from the pan.
Serve warm or allow it to cool completely before slicing.
