INGREDIENTS
Flattened rice – 100 grams
Gram flour – 60 grams
Water – 300 milliliters
Salt – 1/4 teaspoon
Corn flour – 25 grams
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Oil – for fry
Salt – 3/4 teaspoon
Red chili – 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala – 1/2 teaspoon
PREPARATION
1. In a blender, add 100 grams flattened rice and blend it well.
2. Transfer this into a bowl and strain it.
3. Add 60 grams gram flour and mix it well.
4. In a heavy skillet, add 300 milliliters water, 1/4 teaspoon salt, mixed mixture and cook for 3 – 4 minutes.
5. Remove it from heat and cover it with lid. Rest for 5 minutes.
6. Transfer this into a bowl, add 25 grams corn flour and mix it well.
7. Add 1 tablespoon oil and knead it into a dough.
8. Cover it with cling warp and rets for 5 minutes.
9. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a Kurkure.
10. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
11. Remove it from heat and drain it on an absorbent paper.
12. Transfer this into a bow, add 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala and mix it well.
13. Serve.
