INSTANT POT SAUSAGE GRAVY AND BISCUITS

Instant pot sausage gravy and biscuits never got easier.

Shopping List:
1 lb. breakfast sausage
4 tbsps. salted butter
4 tbsps. all purpose flour
2 1/2 cups whole milk
Kosher salt and course black pepper to taste.
Biscuits

Directions:
Remove lid from IP and press the saute then the start buttons.
When the display reads “hot”, add the sausage, breakup and cook 8-10 minutes until thoroughly cooked through.
Stir in the butter until melted.
Add the flour and constantly stir 1-2 minutes until well absorbed and the raw flour flavor has cooked out.
Add the milk and bring to a high boil while stirring. Simmer 2 minutes or until the gravy thickens.
Make the biscuits then cover in the gravy.
