You can make idli nad uttapam with the same batter, dosa with a slightly runnier batter, add chopped veggies to make the appe and pungulu and get ready in as jiffy with your breakfast recipes!

Recipes :

Instant Breakfast Premix
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup urad dal without skin
2 tbsp chana dal
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
½ cup poha
2 cups rice flour
1 teaspoon salt
Method:
Grind together all the ingredients to make a fine powder andstore.

Instant Batter
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup instant premix
½ cup yoghurt
1 tsp fruit salt
Water as required
Method:
Mix together the instant premix, yoghurt with sufficient water to make a thick, lump free batter. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Add more water as required to make the batter of desired consistency. Add the fruit salt and mix immediately.
1. To make idli, pour in greased idli tray and steam in a prepared steamer for 15 minutes till done.
2. To make dosa, spread on a dosa tawa and cook till crisp on the underside. Spread 2 tsp oil on the dosa and cook till the dosa is crisp. Remove and serve.
3. To make uttapam, pour a ladleful batter in a pan. top with chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander leaves and cook till the underside is golden. Pour some oil over it an flip. Cook till the uttapam is cooked thoroughly.
4. To make pungulu, add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, cchopped curry leaves to the batter. Heat 2” oil in a pan. drop small balls of the batter in medium hot oil and fry till golden. Remove and serve hot.
5. To make appe, heathe appa pan. add a tsp of oil in each cavity. Sprinkle a few mustard seeds in each cavity and pour 2 tbsp of batter in each cavity. Cover and cook till the appe is golden on the underside. Flip and cook till the appe is well cooked and golden. Remove and serve.
