The CRISPIEST ROAST POTATOES in the Instant Pot Duo Crisp | Ultimate Lid

Roast Potatoes are a roast dinner favourite, so here’s my new method for SUPER CRISPY roasties cooked in the Instant Pot Duo Crisp. I’m using the one with the Ultimate Lid, but any Duo Crisp will be just fine. This version is made with duck fat which gives an extra special flavour point, but if you don’t have any, or are plant based, use a high smoke point oil and you’ll be just fine. There are a few stages to these celebratory potatoes – it’s so worth it!

If you are using a Duo Crisp or Pro, most you’ll find most stainless steel steamer baskets will be fine, but for the Ultimate Lid version, the height of the bowl is much lower so please check carefully. To find similar, search “Instant Pot Steamer Basket” and check the review and product details for the height which is the main difference with the Ultimate Lid (shorter and wider stainless steel bowl), though do also check the diameter fits with your version of the Instant Pot . My steamer basket in this video measures 11cm height, 19cm width and that works fine in the Ultimate.
