Recipes:
Chicken Alfredo:
2 chicken breasts
1 3/4 cups whipping cream
1.5 cups chicken broth
3-4 TBSP unsalted butter
1 TBSP minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 block cream cheese
Add all ingredients into crockpot. Cook on high for 4 hours and shredded with a hand mixer. Add 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1/3 cup parmesan and let melt. Serve over pasta
Vegetable Beef Soup
1 lb ground beef
1 onion
2-3 cups peeled and chopped potatoes
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 TBSP minced garlic
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 can petite diced tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried parsely
1/2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 cans beef broth.
Brown beef and onion in skillet and then add to crockpot with the rest of the ingredients. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8 hours.
Sausage and Scalloped Potatoes:
2.5 lbs potatoes peeled and sliced thinly (1/8 inch slices)
1 lb sausage or ham
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
thyme, rosemary, paprika to taste
1/3 cup parmesan
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup chicken broth
Add all ingredients to crockpot and mix together. Cook on high for 4-5 hours until potatoes are soft. Let more cheese melt at the end and serve.
Italian Orzo Soup:
1 lb ground pork
1 onion, chopped
1 sweet bell pepper chopped
2-3 carrots, peeled and sliced thinly
1 jar spaghetti sauce or marinara
2 cups chicken broth
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup orzo
Cook pork in skillet with veggies until pork is browned. Add to crockpot with the rest of the ingredients except orzo. Cook on high for for 4 hours. After 4 hours, add the orzo and cook for about 12 minutes until soft. Enjoy!
Slow Cooker Chili:
1 lb ground beef (2lbs if you want a meaty chili)
1 onion, chopped
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can chili beans
2 finely grated carrots
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 cans petite diced tomatoes
8 oz can tomato sauce
1.5 TBSP chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup water
Cook ground beef with onion in a skillet until browned and then add to crockpot with the rest of the ingredients. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8. Top with cheddar cheese and sour cream before serving.
