Instant Pot 5 Minute Tandoori Salmon- Homemade Tandoori Masala- Easy Healthy No Oil- Fish Recipe

Sharing the recipe for my homemade tandoori masala & how to make tandoori salmon in the Instant Pot. Aromatic, flavourful & healthy fish recipe.

**Recipe
**For making the tandoori masala
Chili powder- 1 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp (recipe: https://youtu.be/crgfOltdLwY)
Salt- 1 1/2 tsp
Garlic, grated- 1/2 tbsp
Ginger, grated- 1/2 tbsp
Cilantro, chopped- 2 tbsp
Mint leaves, chopped- 1 tbsp
Yogurt, plain- 3 tbsp
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients & make into a thick paste.
Can be refrigerated for a week.

Salmon or any firm fish fillets- up to 6 fillets

Spread the tandoori masala over the fish fillets.
Let marinate for 30 minutes to an hour.
Or marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

Add 1 cup of water to the stainless steel pot.
Place a steamer on the pot.
Grease the steamer with non-stick cooking spray.
Place the marinated fish fillets on the steamer.
Close with the lid.
Select pressure cook setting. Set time to 3 minutes at high pressure.
After 3 mins press cooking, do a quick pressure release.
Open the lid.
Remove the steamer from the stainless steel pot.
Place the cooked fillets on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
Turn on BROIL mode in the oven at high temperature.
Place the baking sheet under the heating element and broil for 2 minutes or till golden brown spots appear on the fish fillets.
Can be air fried in the air fryer for 2 to 3 minutes.
