INGREDIENTS:
Filling:
2 lb ground pork
1/4 cup minced water chestnuts
1/2 lb finely chopped shrimp
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 tsp grated ginger
1 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp Chinese shao xing wine
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1/8 tsp ground white pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 packs of won ton wrappers
Neutral oil for frying
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Mix filling ingredient together.
2.) Add 1 tbsp of meat mixture on a won ton wrapper. Form the meat mixture into a small roll.
3.) Wet the sides with some water. Fold one side of the wonton wrapper over and press the edges together.
4.) Heat up some oil and fry the gau gee for 2 min on each side or until cooked through.
5.) Serve with your favorite sweet chili sauce.
