Wonton Soup Recipe เกี้ยวนำ้ – Hot Thai Kitchen

Wonton soup is the ultimate comfort food, and this recipe is really easy to make at home! Once you’ve made these wontons you can also deep fry them for an appetizer if you’d like. The broth here is great as a base for any kind of noodle soup! I’m using pork and shrimp as a filling because that’s the classic version in Thailand, but you can also change pork to chicken or use only pork or only chicken if you’d like.

Pailin “Pai” Chongchitnant is the author of the Hot Thai Kitchen cookbook, co-host of a Canadian TV series One World Kitchen on Gusto TV, and creator and host of the YouTube channel Pailin’s Kitchen.

Pai was born and raised in southern Thailand where she spent much of her “playtime” in the kitchen. She traveled to Canada to study Nutritional Sciences at the University of British Columbia, and was later trained as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in San Francisco.

After working in both Western and Thai professional kitchens, she decided that her passion really lies in educating and empowering others to cook at home via YouTube videos, her cookbook, and cooking classes.
