This video is another in our series of healthy breakfast recipes. Adai is a kind of thick crepe, which is made by grinding rice and lentils. The addition of various dals/lentils makes it a protein packed dish , which is nutritious, filling and tasty too. The fenugreek/methi leaves used in this recipe not only enhance the flavour but also add to the nutritive value.
Ingredients
Idli rice/parboiled rice/Brown rice 1 cup
Tuvar dal/pigeon pea lentils 1/4 cup
Urad dal 1/4 cup
Channa dal 1/4 cup
Moong dal split green 1/4 cup
Dry red chilies 4-6
Hing/asafoetida1/4 tsp
Ginger grated a small piece
Oil 2-3 tbsp
