Ingredients Required:
Whole Garam Masalas
( Mace, green cardamon, Star Anise, cinnamon Stick, shahi jeera)

Ginger Garlic Paste, 3 TBSP

Oil, 3 TBSP

Yogurt, 3 TBSP
Garam Masala Powder, 1 TBSP

Red Chili powder, 2 TBSP, (Skip if you dont want to be spicy)

Coriander Powder, 1 TBPS
Onion, Half an onion, Sliced
Salt, as per taste,
Turmeric powder, half a teaspoon
Fried Onions, 1 cup
Mint Leaves, 1 cup
Coriander Leaves, 1 cup
Rice, Basmati , 2 cups,

Lime and Onions for Garnish.
Boiled Eggs, Optional.

Kachi Vs Pakki Biryani
There are two methods of making biryani.
The word Kachi is urdu for ‘raw’, whereas the word “Pakki” is urdu for cooked.
In Kachi Biryani, the chicken and the rice is made at the same time in the same utensil.

In Pakki Biryani, the chicken and rice are cooked separately and then brought together to finish the biryani.

Which is better?
This is matter of opinion. Everyone has their preferences, so one cannot say definitively. However, the biryani made in most famous restaurants in Hyderabad as well as around the world is “Pakki Biryani”.
