Carne Asada Slow Cooker Recipe – Slow Cooker and Crock Pot Recipes

I made this Carne Asada for Tacos in my Cosori Slow Cooker. I understand that Carne Asada means grilled beef, but you get the point. I would have typically marinated my skirt steak for 4 to 5 hours and cooked it on the grill, but I didn’t have time for that, and wanted to have some Carne Asada tacos when I got home from work. I was skeptical about this cooking skirt steak in a slow cooker, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. If you have a crock pot and either don’t have time to grill, or don’t have a grill, give this a shot.

Ingredients:
3 Pounds of Skirt Steak
3 Tbsp Mexican Oregano
1 Tbsp Cumin
2 1/2 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 Cup Chopped Cilantro
7 Cloves Minced Garlic
Juice of 1 lime
1 Tbsp each Salt and Pepper
5 Tbsp Olive oil or more as needed
