I don’t like making the same chicken recipes week to week. Today I am sharing my new recipe for Jamaican Jerk Chicken. It’s tangy and spicy. I think it great over rice with a side of black beans. Enjoy!
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup lime juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
5 green onions, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 habanero pepper, seeds removed and diced
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground all-spice
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. dried thyme
2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken thighs, well trimmed of fat
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
SLOW COOKER SIZE:
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add the everything to the slow cooker expect the chicken, stir until everything in the sauce is combined. Add the chicken, I liked to swish the chicken in the sauce so each piece is completely covered.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
Serve the chicken and sauce over rice. Enjoy
