Chicken Teriyaki
3 Large Chicken Breast
1 Tbs Minced Garlic
1/4 cup honey
3 Tbs brown sugar
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
2 Tbs rice vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 Tbs cornstarch
salt and pepper to tast
2-3 tsp kinder seasoning (optional)
sesame seeds
1/4 cup green onions
Served over white rice and a side of steamed broccoli
Smothered Chicken Burritos
Burrito size tortillas
1/2-1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (for inside burrito and to top on top of burritos with sauce)
2-3 large chicken breast
1 can fire roared tomatoes
1 4 oz can mild diced green chilies
1/2 cup mild salsa
1 can black beans – drained and rinsed
2 tbs olive oil
1-2 cups mushrooms sliced
1/2 onion diced
1 tbs butter
1-2 tbs minced garlic
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce
1 tbs butter
2 tbs olive oil
3 Tbs flour
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 4 oz can green chilies
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp cumin
salt and pepper
Pork Chops and Mushroom Gravy
3/4 cup Beef broth
1 can of cream of chicken
1-2 tbs minced garlic
1 cream of mushroom
1-2 cups mushrooms
1/2 onion diced
3-4 Boneless pork chops
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbs olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
I season my pork chops with Kinder’s all purpose seasoning
Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 5-6 hours (timing will depend on how thick your pork chops are and if they are boneless or bone-in)
Serve over mashed potatoes and a side of your favorite veggie
Pepper Steak
1-1.5 LBS round steak cut into thin strips
1/2 onion cut into thick slices
2 tsp brown sugar
1 3/4 cup beef broth
2 bell peppers (whatever colors you like)
1.5 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tbs minced garlic
3 Tbs low sodium soy sauce
1 Tbs cornstarch
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground gingers
salt and pepper
